Synopsis
Birdie Weaver struggles to prevent her daughter Mary from ruining her
granddaughter Hope's prom and graduation. As pressures mount and secrets spill, the damage to the three women's relationships may become too large for Birdie to fix and threatens to destroy her family.

BIRDIE WEAVER (NANA), A woman who has always been a buffer between her daughter and granddaughter, now trying to wriggle gracefully out from between them without having them rip each other or her apart.
MARY ELIZABETH WEAVER, Birdie's daughter, a grown woman living with her mother, still trim enough to believably fit into her daughter's prom dress.
